Old Urge Demos

Hey everyone!

I kind of feel like a knucklehead

(this is my first post on here since joining ...YEARS ago) - I signed up back in high school to find out more about a band whose commercial career I basically missed (The Urge) due to my young age -just turned 22 yesterday!!! as it was 2001-2002 and I hadn't really grown into the slowly emerging music scene which has by now in 2009 taken the world by storm. In any case, here I am with a favor to ask of you.... during the early 00's, I was able to get my hands on old school Urge demos that we re-issued and auctioned off on eBay. I got my hands on Fat Babies and Puttin' The Backbone Back (haven't regretted either purchase since!) but ...I want more!!!! and since Escape From Boys Town isn't coming out anytime soon ( I wrote Steve Ewing on My space he has since not responded, I figured I would ask since horrible acts from the 90's were coming back -i.e. Blink-182 and Limp Bizkit [I can't believe I just typed out that name] this past summer) I figured I would try to ask you guys if you wouldn't mind sharing some music with me? I am willing to purchase copies of Magically Delicious if someone can point me in the right direction but if anyone can hook it up and is feeling generous...drop me a line...

I only have these on my mp3 player, so I cant help you out with that, but just about every time ive ever been to Vintage Vinyl or Slackers, they have the bands entire catalog there with the exception of Bust Me Dat 40, they may have that out on cd now, but I bought it along time ago on cassette off ebay. But im sure someone on here could throw you a bone and get you a recording.Dont hold your breath on a Urge reunion any time soon, and definately not on EFBT. Steve Ewing shows are about as close as youre gonna get at this point.

Ya, man, same here; i've got the full catalog plus the leftovers from random stuff and singles plus some decent live goodies. I can drop it on DVD in mp3 format and mail it to ya if you want. I'll include a lot of viruses and kiddie porn for the Feds.

With all the shows they did at the nights, as well as stuff for the point, the guys are bound to have just truck loads of soundboard and video laying around. They should put some of it out. I'd buy a dvd or 6 of old shows even if the quality was Fair to Good. It doesnt have to be award winning quality I set my standards pretty low.
