Update on Site Status
As I'm sure you have all noticed, the site has been down for the last few days. The hackers that took down the site previously uploaded a script that was sending out massive amounts of spam and caused the site to get shut down by my host. Fortunately, I was able to remove the offending script and update to the latest version of vBulletin to remove any security holes. The look right now is temporary until things get settled.
At this time, please excuse any errors or broken links. I am sorting things out and will get everything functioning completely soon. For now, enjoy the new vBulletin and all the new functions it has to offer. If you have any questions about the site, just reply to this topic and I will try to answer them.

Nope, it's not going back to the way it was. The version of the software was outdated and had security holes. By updating I can keep it current and avoid getting shut down again. Once you get used to it, I think you will find the new version to be much better.

Cool.. the newer version is definitely cleaner. I'd just suggest putting all the poster's information to the left like it was before rather than over each post if possible.

Also, peep the Arcade link at the top of the forum. Until I get things sorted out, it doesn't show up on the main page. I will hopefully have that fixed soon.

Thank you kind sir. The arcade is a nice new touch, and I dig the moderator interface.
Something else I just noticed - the PTMFUS logo at the top of the thread-view page is left alligned rather than centered.

Hey Paul, I don't know if this is happening to everyone else, but when I log in, it takes me to an error message about supplying "index.php": I sort of used the links overhead to get into the forums to post this. Just thought I'd let you know in case there's an issue.

Moseff, what page are you trying to login from? I tested it with my account and it was fine, but I do have more privledge than the average user. Let me know and I can try to track it down.

I'm not having a problem with it.... but some of my face icons are not showing up such as the middle finger, devil, chug, stupid, and shoot.

I set things up to log in automatically (that might be part of the problem). When I just type in the address (ie, http://www.ptmfus.com/) I get directed to an error page titled "tikketyboo tikketyboo".
The error page has a message:
" vbPortal Message
You would need to provide your own index.php if they don't have to use the home module, because the index.php included with vbportal, just sends them here. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster"
I can access the archives and then eventually find my way into the forums through that back door method.

This isn't as bad, but sometimes when I play the arcade (thanks a lot for that btw) my keyboard doesn't do anything.

go into usercp, edit options, date and time settings and set your timezone.
Moseff, what url is in your browser when you get that message? You aren't launching the site from an old bookmark are you?

It happens to me when when I attempt to log in via the main site address.
Both http://www.ptmfus.com/ and http://www.ptmfus.com/index.php take me to that error page when I attempt to access the site.
However, I can click onto the forum archive, and then click back on "View Full Version: PTMFUS.com" in the archive and suddenly I can read the forum and the url is http://www.ptmfus.com/forums/index.php
Is the old main page gone and we just have the forums access now?
EDIT: Also, it looks like custom titles and avatars have been disabled in the User CP (for me anyway).
